Just closed another chapter in my life.
Just accomplished 1 of my new year's resolution.
Just... completely lost, yet very free (literal & metaphorical).
The past 1 year 11 months have been exhilarating to say the least. I've learnt so much, and added quite a bit to the CV I must say. But no doubt, it is still a chapter of my life I cannot wait to move on from. Pray tell, it's almost like a breakup from a bad relationship that should have happened sooner.
Impulsive, some may say. But I'd say it's been a calculated move.
- I did not want to spend my holidays abroad constantly worrying over the work texts
- I did not want to countdown to the New Year thinking about the mountain of work I've yet to complete
- I certainly did not want to have to deal with another mummy quarrel
I'm really glad to have my life (& phone) back, & I'm sure this will remain one of the best decisions I've ever made.
