First day of CNY was the only day I celebrated truthfully and honestly like how it's supposed to be done and DAMN I had easily the BEST CNY EVER!
Everyone has been saying how mad boring cny was and yadayada but in my case, I did things with my relatives I've never done before and it was a success haha ;)

Went to the first house which I ALWAYS look forward to because of the awesome dishes they cook! Our intuition was so accurate. First house and we met Tyson and family alr :D
Peranakan food (i think) - Family recipe worxz *TOP SECRET* Shiok only. And they are the only house that serves top quality kueh lapis laa! Had 10 slices and it was still not enough for me (not forgetting that I had meesiam and pork and 'cup' popiah (?) before that). Woah I am damn lucky lor...

Never fail to cry when I visit my father's aunt cuz of all the sob stories he tells me. 2 elderly living in a one room flat poor living on what charities give them sick no relatives. And yet they are still so hospitable towards us and give me angbao and (although this sounds funny) give us maggi mee toilet paper soya sauce biscuits milo etc. That's their way of hosting guests and it is so rare to see such pure joy in people when they host others.

Following day was mad boring. Stayed at nic's hs for a really long time and forgot to bring mandarin oranges for the parents like wtf laa damn embarrassed. Was gorging chakueytiao cashewnuts (not nice-tasting)kuehlapis sparklingapplejuice etc. Supposed to meet Tyson but they couldn't make it, make me sian ttm only!
School has been utterly boring. Got freaking caught for my hair colour. Told ya it was obvious under the sun (ONLY) but that's the problem with female teachers (notice the irrelevance of the 1st & 2nd part of the sentence). They are either bitchy boring or law-abiding. Sadly, mine is so law-by-law-ish I HATE IT. late for school warning letter?!?! who does that srsly. last yr my CT couldn't even be bothered. Ok but that aside she is reallyreally nice and I am so glad she's my math teacher albeit the high pitched voice that none of us can stand.
Not being shameless or anything. I have to say, I loved my CNY Day1 outfit! :) Some said I overdressed but compared to the sari Zhiyi donned, I blended in and was not even a tad bit outta place. Heehee.
Mommy forced me to untie my braids and GAWD I am so glad she did! The amount of hair I dropped from brushing combing and washing my hair. Easily like a 100 strands or sth? That's ALOT considering it all came from one side of my head? OMG I will never ever ever do it again although I didn't regret doing it ;)
2nd year celeb this sunday. Loss of what to buy. Hole in my wallet. Dilemma. I DIE.
